Kareena Kapoor Khan is playing the role of Rinkle Kumari who is a deaf-and-mute girl. Salman Khan essayed the role of Ali, an ardent devotee of Hindu deity Hanuman, who has spent more than 20 years in Pakistan for rescuing more than 50,000 people from floods and helping them with food, shelter and medical care during the 1998 Pakhtoonkhwa earthquake. Rinkle is an eight-year-old girl who was separated from her family during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 while fleeing East Pakistan, now Bangladesh. Rajesh Tandon has written screenplay of this movie. Bajrangi Bhaijaan deals with the new approach to Indo-Pak relationship in which Salman Khan plays a Hindu devotee of Lord Hanuman whose compassion for people transcends all faiths and borders. Bajrangi Bhaijaan is all set to hit the theatres on July 17. Directed by Kabir Khan, the film stars Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles.
